We may not have any rugby league to enjoy in person over the next few weeks given the recent suspension of the game, but that won’t stop us enjoying some memorable classics from years gone by to fill the time on Saints TV!
This week we are looking back on our famous Magic Weekend matches and next up is a memorable clash at ‘Millennium Magic’ with rivals Wigan at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium back in 2008.
Heading into this one, Saints had beaten Wigan 46-10 at Knowsley Road on Good Friday, and St.Helens new a win would mean we would climb to third in the table and fire a warning to the leaders, Leeds, that we remained set on taking revenge for last year’s grand final defeat.
