The Saints have been battling the conditions on-field with the frost, rain, and even Storm Darragh, and off the field in our training facility at Cowley, all with the determination of prepping well and working hard for Betfred Super League 2025. Alex chats about the excited vibe around both the playing squad and our coaching staff too, to right some wrongs from 2024.
Opening up about injuries he suffered last season, Walmsley knows its important to build himself back up in Pre-Season as he aims for an uninterrupted campaign. He reveals also that he is feeling better than he has for a while.
As one of our senior leaders and our season starting prop, Alex has the likes of George Delaney, Noah Stephens and Alfie Sinclair breathing down his neck for that starting spot. Our #8 revels in his role of being a mentor and wants to help them continue to progress, but is not willing to let them take his beloved squad number for a little while yet!
