Matty Lees says all the boys have come back in great shape and is excited for the competitive restart against Catalans on Sunday, whilst he has revealed training with “world class” James Graham is a great opportunity to learn as much as he can off the experienced Saint.
Lees has played in every game prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, including in the World Club Challenge and insists he and the rest of his St.Helens team mates are eager to get back on the field against Catalans on Sunday (4:15pm).
The 2019 Super League Young Player of the Year picked up a horrific injury at the back end of last season, ironically at Headingley, but he has visibly used the Lockdown period to build his size and fitness back up and is looking in tip-top shape ahead of the restart.
Lees chatted to Saints TV about the restart, admitting that they have done their homework on a dangerous Catalans side and has revealed he must learn as much as he can from the experienced James Graham.
