Jammer: First game was ‘hard’ with new ruling

Mon 3 Aug 20

James Graham admits his first game back in the Red Vee was tough work against a good Catalans team and believes the new ruling makes it tougher for the forwards.

Jammer started at prop in Sunday’s dominant win over the Dragons and put in a solid performance and after the game he reflected on his first victory back in a Saints shirt, insisting it was tough going especially with the new six again rule.

There were a number of set-restarts given by referee Ben Thaler, but Graham felt the Saints dealt with it well and was pleased with the teams’ performance, but says there is more to come from Saints.

Graham enjoyed a battle with Catalans Sam Kasiano and admitted he enjoyed playing in his first Super League game since leaving the Club in 2011.
