Kristian Woolf says Tommy Makinson will be eager to make amends for the games he has missed ahead of his confirmed return this week against Wakefield Trinity on Friday (5:30pm).
Woolf looks ahead to Friday’s Betfred Super League clash with Wakefield at Emerald Headingley in a game which should see the return of our Golden Boot winner, Makinson, after the winger served the final game of his five match ban last week.
Woolf says Makinson has trained really well over the past few weeks and has an energy about him going into this coming Friday.
The boss was speaking at Ruskin Sports Complex this afternoon after a change of training environment for his players, which in-turn has helped protect the playing surface at the Stadium. On the change of scenery, Woolf admitted he and his coaching staff were more than happy to help the Groundsman out at the weekend following the treacherous weather that occurred.
Saints TV subscribers can watch the full interview right here where the boss talks more about the game, the hectic schedule to come, Lewis Dodd and playing at Headingley again.
