Kristian Woolf believes Super League have made the right decision after the new playoff structure was revealed yesterday, but does admit he would have preferred another game leading into our Semi Final.
Saints match against Catalans scheduled for Thursday 5 November has been cancelled with Betfred Super League announcing the 2020 season will be reshaped through November in response to the impact of Covid-19 cases at two clubs.
Wigan will need to beat Huddersfield on Friday to clinch the League Leaders’ Shield. If they fail to win, Saints will retain it. This will be followed by four elimination Play-Offs which will determine the Grand Final on Friday 27 November.
