Saints 2020 Player of the Year, Morgan Knowles was in good spirits this week as he looks to link up with the rest of the first team squad after off-season surgery on his thumb.
Knowles, who had another brilliant year in a Saints shirt and was rewarded with a place in the Super League Dream team yet again, had his thumb fused in the off-season, but has since had his cast removed on Monday.
The powerful forward is now working through ball work with the physio and will be fit and ready to go at the start of the new campaign.
We caught up with him to chat about his return to training and he says he has been impressed with how the squad is shaping up this year, but joked he wished Alex Walmsley and Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook were a little less annoying whilst speaking to Saints TV….
Hear from him below.
