Kristian Woolf has revealed that Matty Lees will be out for a “little while” but there is some positive news on Sione Mata’utia who has come through “fine” according to the boss, but will not feature this week.
Lees hobbled off mid-way through the first half of Saturday’s Cup win over Leeds Rhinos and Woolf has revealed that Lees will be out for a period of time and although the exact length of time isn’t yet clear, he will definitely be out for at least the next few weeks, including missing this coming Friday’s clash with Wakefield at the Totally Wicked Stadium (6pm).
Mata’utia also left the field in the first period after a head knock and Woolf has revealed that he has recovered well, but still has a few steps he has to get through before he can return and he later told reporters in his weekly press conference, that Mata’utia will not feature this week.
Hear from the boss as he also gave an update on Mark Percival who has a real chance of featuring either this week or next, with Woolf admitting he must act cautiously, ensuring he is not putting his centre at any risk of further injury.
