Kristian Woolf has revealed that Tommy Makinson will be named in the 21 man squad, but if there is any doubt about him in the lead up to Friday’s Betfred Super League clash with Leigh Centurions (6pm), he will not play.
If Makinson does play, the boss has admitted he will have a selection headache with the likes of Mark Percival and Jack Welsby both impressing at centre.
Woolf also confirmed he will be without prop Matty Lees for between 10 and 11 weeks after he underwent surgery on his ankle recently. However there is some good news in regard to Morgan Knowles’ return. Read more on the duo here.
The boss also looks ahead to the challenge of Leigh on Friday as Saints look to make it five wins from five with the game live on Our League for 2021 members.
