Matty Lees is back in the Saints 21 man squad this week as he looks to build some match-fitness ahead of Wembley next week.
Kristian Woolf revealed in his weekly press conference earlier this week that Lees will be on ‘limited minutes’ to ensure he does not do too much work given it’s his first game back since the start of April when he injured his ankle against Leeds.
And Lees is looking forward to the clash with Wakefield on Friday and naturally hopes to come through it unscathed with a potential place in the Challenge Cup Final squad up for grabs.
Having missed out in 2019 it certainly would be a special occasion for Lees.
