Try-scoring Tommy Makinson said that the Saints did it for the fans after Saints victory over Castleford Tigers at Wembley which saw us lift the Challenge Cup for the first time since 2008.
Makinson went over in the corner mid-way through the second half to put us ahead and he chatted to Saints TV after the game admitting the victory was for “our familes and the fans”.
