In the latest edition of Sit Down With Saints, Saints TV presenter Stuart Pyke spoke to new head coach Paul Wellens as he gets ready to take on his first season as head coach.
Going into detail on his journey to the top job at the club, he spoke about working with Justin Holbrook and Kristian Woolf and how he wishes to take qualities from both as he looks to add to our already record-breaking run
He also spoke about our trip to Australia and how it affects the group and the preparation for the season. The trip is an opportunity to make more history for the club, but it also must not get in the way of our Super League preparation.
We also took a moment to take a look at the progress from the academy into the first team and how the pathways can differ from player to player and how that can impact the players themselves both individually and as a group.
In our second feature we also take a look behind the scenes as our reserves went head to head with the Swinton Lions, and we spoke to George Delaney and Will Roberts on how they felt the game went, and how important it is for them to play for the Saints.
