The game could be a historic occasion for the club and for James Roby, the captain has now matched Kel Coslett as the club’s leading appearance player on 531 matches. Should Roby take to the field on Saturday, it would move the legend to 532 and setting a new record for the first time since 1976.
The boss was keen to appreciate that it would be a special event for Saints but that a performance and a result over Salford would be the focus.
