The day started with our reserves taking on Salford and looking to maintain their 100% start to the season, but a strong Salford side took the first points and were looking the more likely to score early on.
However, a youthful saints side with academy players featuring got a foothold in the game as a returning Matty Foster, following a long spell out with an ACL injury, got over the line with a good run to collect a deft kick from Will Roberts.
A shirt presentation then followed with Eamonn McManus, and Kel Coslett in attendance at the team meeting to present Robes with his matchday shirt.
