Following our big win at the Magic Weekend over the Huddersfield Giants, Paul Wellens and Tommy Makinson both spoke to the press about the game.
Paul praised the performance as one of our best citing the effort given in the game, saying the scoreline itself isn’t what impressed him with the points themselves coming off the back of effort areas we’d highlighted through the week.
Tommy was asked about the reasons behind the sluggish start to the season, saying that the energy levels have maybe been lacking, but said there are no excuses, and we weren’t playing to our level, but now we need to keep this level of performance going forward.
