Moses Mbye spoke to us at Saints TV following the end of just his second training session with the group as we build up to our round twenty clash with the Leeds Rhinos at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
A number of topics were discussed but first up he spoke about the feel in the camp, and said he can feel he’s joining a champion side with the hospitality he’s felt from everyone at the club, and the general ‘vibe’
Already Moses has felt the love from the Saints fan-base with him being stopped in town by a number of supporters, and he commended it, saying he can feel how much love the town has for the team.
With Joey Lussick departing to Australia last week, the main question aimed at Moses has been where is he going to play. His versatility is something that was highlighted when we signed him, and while he can play at nine, he is comfortable in a number of positions, and is ready to help the team wherever he can.
With his ability to play nine, he also commented on the opportunity to play with James Roby, whose career he says hasn’t gone unnoticed in Australia, and how it’s something he couldn’t pass up.
With our League game against the Leeds Rhinos fast approaching, and a number of injuries plaguing the side, Moses had his say on the game, and the feeling in the camp going into it.
