The Red V boss revealed that Konrad Hurrell is set for four weeks on the sidelines due to a calf injury which was picked up in the win over Leeds Rhinos, however he provided positive updates on both Curtis Sironen and Mark Percival.
The big back-rower and the star centre could return to action, should they come through all they need to.
Despite their recent run of form, Wellens is well aware of the attacking threats that Salford poses and knows our Saints need to be prepared for a tough challenge going to their home ground.
