Go behind the scenes of our first away day of 2024 as we faced the Huddersfield Giants away from home at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Following a strong opening round for both teams it was sure to be a fiery contest, with Huddersfield picking up a win over the Leigh Leopards, and us picking up a big score over the London Broncos.
A tough attritional battle through the first 40 saw us pick up two scores, with Matt Whitley scoring his third try in two days, and Sione Mata’utia crashing over from close range following a deft short ball from James Bell.
The second half saw us start to grind the Giants down though, with us getting more and more on top as the half wore on.
