We caught up with Leah Burke ahead of St.Helens Women’s Betfred Super League opener against York Valkyrie this Sunday!
After three victories in the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup to open their campaign, Saints travel to York to face the Valkyrie on Sunday at 12pm. The game at the LNER Community Stadium will be streamed live on The Sportsman’s YouTube channel.
Leah talks getting back involved in the action, after missing the majority of the 2023 season due to injury. She also looks forward to a physical test on Sunday.
Our England International also is full of praise for the group together at the club this season, after a dominant early start to the 2024 season.
