With a tough loss in the Challenge Cup on the mind, we were keen to put that result behind us by putting in a good performance against an albeit struggling Hull FC side.
Hull came into the game also looking for a good performance with Tony Smith having just departed the club, and Simon Grix in charge on an interim basis.
