Wellens also gives an update on Matt Whitley, who has gone to see a specialist regarding a shoulder injury picked up at Hull KR last Saturday. Tommy Makinson is expected to be back available for selection after missing out last week due to chicken pox. Morgan Knowles is being monitored and assessed for a slight groin issue.
When asked about the criticism aimed at the team following the defeat to the Robins, the Saints boss spoke strongly about his firm understanding just how passionate our supporters are, and the high standard of expectation too.
