Following a hard-fought win over the Catalans Dragons at the Totally Wicked Stadium, we caught up with the returning Agnatius Paasi to talk about the game.
Paasi had been out for almost a year following an injury picked up in last year’s Challenge Cup semi-final, and made his return to action in a reserves game earlier in the month, but this would be his first first-team match since that game.
Iggy said that the team made his return much easier in the game as they set the platform for him to make his trademark drives with some fast ruck speed.
Coming back onto the pitch for the first time, the crowd were on their feet giving an ovation to welcome him back, and Iggy said that it almost brought him to tears. He said he couldn’t be prouder, and that he is grateful for the fans and the club.
