Head Coach Paul Wellens holds his weekly press conference ahead of St.Helens’ visit to the Salford Community Stadium to take on Salford Red Devils this Sunday.
Known for their expansive style of play, Wellens paid credit to the Red Devils who can do the tough stuff and work hard for one another and knows that they will pose a very difficult threat to his side.
In the latest update regarding his squad, Paul further confirmed what he believed after last Sunday’s win over London Broncos that Tommy Makinson will not be available for four to six weeks due to a plantar fascia injury.
Now past the halfway point of the 2024 season, the Saints boss reflected on the past few months and stated there is still improvement in the team, and that the energy around the squad at remains positive despite missing a number of players due to injuries.
