Harry Robertson speaks to Saints TV following his first ever St.Helens First Team appearance in an away against Wigan Warriors!
A baptism of fire, there’s no game quite like going to our nearest and dearest whilst down on troops, looking to bounce back after a couple of poor results.
For Robertson, he was arguably the star of the night, stepping into the fullback spot at just 18-years-old and shining brightly. Despite making a couple of errors, he never looked out of place, led the line in attack looking to fight and get that victory for the Club.
The former Halton Farnworth Hornets junior was overjoyed at getting his first match under his belt and spoke about how Paul Wellens broke the news to him that he would be playing.
Robertson also talks about his journey as a Scholarship Saints, thanking Derek Traynor and the rest of our youth coaches for all their belief and effort in getting him to this point.
In closing, Harry thanked the fans for their remarkable support away at Wigan and was delighted to have them backing him on the field.
