St.Helens back-rower Sam Royle speaks to Saints TV ahead of this Friday’s big game away against Leigh Leopards.
Honest and upfront about the current run of form the Saints are experiencing, Royle discusses wanting to ‘flip the switch’ and get back to winning ways.
Whilst the Saints have a number of injured players which has led to Paul Wellens demanding a lot from a smaller group of men, but Royle knows that our standards. regardless of who we put out on the field needs to be high.
The Red V’s #22 also talks about the rivalry-like encounter he is expecting on Friday evening, with matches between Saints and Leigh in the last two seasons being bruising and battling affairs. With our team heading over to their turf and well over 850 of our supporters in fine voice to cheer us on, he wants to take home the two points.
