Coming into this round of the Reserves Championship, the Saints had won a big 10-50 away day at Wigan Warriors a fortnight earlier, however the team was much changed.
Derek Hardman’s men sat at the top of the Reserves League table by a point, with a strong points difference advantage too over Wigan in second spot, and both Hull KR and Hull FC who are third and fourth respectively who are two league points behind the Red V, but for the Black & Whites they have played one more game than Saints.
The Leopards Reserves side had four wins and five losses to their record in 2024 before taking on St.Helens, besting Huddersfield Giants in their last run out which was also a home fixture.
