Following our return to form away from home against Hull FC, we caught up with Morgan Knowles who played his first game in three months for the Red Vee!
He talked about how good it was to be back out there on the field as he led the team out on the day, but also said that he could feel the intensity of being back in a matchday.
Morgan said how disappointing it was to be on the sideline, feeling guilty as he was unable to help the team, but to get back in the team was good and get the win was even better.
With the emergence of the likes of Harry Robertson, Jake Burns, Noah Stephens, and Jonny Vaughan, Morgan said that that is the positive in the players we’re missing, we get to see how good the younger players are coming through, with him singling out Noah specifically.
Around 600 Saints fans made the trip to Hull and Morgan thanked them, saying that despite the results of late being disappointing for both the fans and the players, to travel all that way is outstanding.
