Star prop Alex Walmsley is back following surgery for an injury which kept him out for four months, and he was a huge part of our important win over Salford Red Devils in Round 21!
After working relentlessly to get back to full fitness, and doing so early, the towering forward made his return to the field in our Golden Point victory over Salford Red Devils.
Big Al talked about a tough period not only for himself on the sidelines, but seeing the team going through difficult time with injuries and results was tough for him too. Now, he wants to build into the back-end of the season and give the team a big boost now he’s back playing.
With supporters backing the team through the tough times, Alex says thank you for it and encourages that backing to keep coming as we face even more opponents in big fixtures as the campaign draws to a head.
