St.Helens’ star winger talks to Saints TV ahead of this Saturday’s MAGIC WKND clash against Wigan!
Tommy Makinson has had some big moments at MAGIC WKND. Last year at Betfred Super League’s annual summer party, Tommy Makinson made history by scoring the most points in a single match at the event, with 28 points scored via four tries and six conversions. The Saints’ #5 has also scored one of the best tries ever scored at MAGIC WKND back in 2017 with his full length of the field effort against Hull FC at St. James Park in Newcastle.
Now, in 2024 in what will be his final MAGIC WKND event as a Saint, Makinson wants to get one over our oldest rivals – the Wigan Warriors.
Makinson talks about how the team mood has been lifted after getting back-to-back wins in the last two weeks, and he pays credit to the community clubs St.Helens will be representing in our new mid-blue kit, and the fans who are going to be in the stands cheering our team on this Saturday evening.
