Saints TV caught up with St. Helens Women Head Coach Matty Smith, ahead of his side’s trip to Huddersfield this Sunday!
Smith talks about the Saints returning to match action for the first time in three weeks, revealing he gave his squad a week off as a chance to refresh, spend time with some loved ones and come back to re-focus on this important period of the season.
With his Red V team sat at the top of the Betfred Women’s Super League table heading into the final three rounds of the regular season, the League Leader’s Shield is an aim for Smith and his team. However, the Head Coach insists we must take each match one at a time and some good performances.
First up in this run-in, the Saints head to Huddersfield on Sunday lunchtime, looking to get a third win over the Giants in 2024. Smith knows to expect a tough task as we look to keep our winning run rolling.
