St.Helens Head Coach Paul Wellens holds his weekly press conference to preview this Saturday’s match against Warrington Wolves.
After an away victory over Huddersfield Giants last Sunday afternoon, the Saints are in fourth place and are aiming to solidify our place in the top six of Betfred Super League with just three rounds to be played in the regular season.
Wellens issues the latest update on his squad, with our team still missing a number of senior players, but with most of our injured men are set to return in the coming weeks as the season reaches its conclusion.
Looking at our opponents the Wolves on Saturday, Wellens credited the job Sam Burgess has done to get them performing well in 2024, and made it clear that in order for us to get a small slice of revenge over them with a win at their place – we will need to be at our best.
Whilst his team has been chopping and changing due to injuries, our young Saints have continued stepping up to give their best for the Club, with Wellens praising their ongoing efforts.
