Following a 68-0 home victory over Barrow Raiders Ladies, the Saints Women lifted the 2024 Women’s Super League – League Leaders’ Shield, and Paige Travis and Jodie Cunningham spoke to the press following the trophy presentation.
Delighted and full of joy after securing their second trophy of the season so far, back-rower Travis and loose-forward Cunningham both reflected on a confident performance over the Cumbrian side.
With the Semi-Final next up, it is now confirmed that Wigan Warriors Women will come to the Totally Wicked Stadium next Sunday, 22nd September for a 7:30pm kick-off. Should Saints get the job done, a home Grand Final would be secured and the chance to make it a historic treble.
Travis and Cunningham shared our team’s target of getting that Women’s Super League trophy, but know that Wigan will come to our home ground with a point to prove after a strong year of growth.
