Following our narrow loss away from home against the Leigh Leopards, Paul Wellens spoke to the press about the game.
Paul said that despite the loss, the game marks a number of weeks in which there have been improvements on the field, but there is definitely room to improve further.
Speaking on the display itself, he said that he can’t fault the effort of the team, but that in big games like this you need to execute when you get chances, and you need to be hard on yourself when you don’t, as we failed to capitalise on a couple of occasions.
Paul was also asked how he thought the season has gone as a whole, and gave an honest assessment of the year to date as we head into the play-offs.
