Vice Captain Morgan Knowles speaks to Saints TV following the narrow 23-22 Golden Point Extra Time loss to Warrington Wolves.
The result at the Halliwell Jones Stadium ended the season of the Saints, however there were positives to take out of the game for Knowles with plenty of spirit shown by the team.
However, as honest as ever, Morgan believes too many chances were handed over to the Wolves by the Saints with little errors and some small wrong choices proving costly.
Reflecting on what has been a tough campaign for a number of Saints due to injury, including Knowles, the loose forward is certain that the challenges the team has faced in 2024 and come through together will only make the team stronger and more together.
Sharing the team’s thanks as well to our incredible fanbase, Knowles thought the fans in the away end at Warrington were at their best, and he knows our faithful supporters will continue backing our men in 2025.
