With Christmas just around the corner, our Pre-Season schedule is ramping up to its climax before the break for Christmas and the New Year.
Following the conclusion of the international fixtures, our players that featured for England’s series victory over Samoa had their time off run later than the majority of the squad. We were thrilled to welcomed back this week our international stars; Jack Welsby, Morgan Knowles, Matty Lees, and Daryl Clark, and they were right into the fire with the rest of the team.
Getting up to speed with the drills proved to be a slight challenge with all the changes we’ve seen over the past few months, but after a couple of mix ups, they were right into it, adding their international class to our drills.
It was the first chance to see the new spine in training action too with Jack Welsby linking up with Tristan Sailor on a number of occasions, Jack throwing his signature cut out ball, and Tristan sprinkling in some silky skill.
