After his inclusion in the England series victory over Samoa, ‘Super Jack’ returned to club matters just before Christmas and hit the ground running with preparation with a grueling session at Formby Beach. The new year began with a tough 17 mile team walk, but Jack highlights how important those team bonding exercises are.
Having worked with Lee Briers at England, Welsby knew how good it was going to be working with him, and with new faces with Eamon O’Carroll and our recruits, it’s been a breath of fresh air.
Vice-Captain Welsby also talks about his continued enjoyment working with Paul Wellens, and sets out his own personal goals for the year ahead.
