The talented young scrum-half has agreed to a new four-year deal which will keep him in the Red V until at least the end of the 2028 season.
Talking about his story so far with the Saints, the former Blackbrook Royals junior speaks about his pride at continuing his long-term progression at the club he has loved all his life.
With Paul Wellens, Lee Briers and Eamon O’Carroll as his coaches, and an outstanding mentor to learn from in Jonny Lomax, Whitby is wanting to absorb all he can to become a better player.
The 18-year-old also discusses the motivation within the young group of men we have developed as homegrown Saints, and how all are driving standards and competition in the squad.
Whitby also gives his view on the Pre-Season so far, and gives his personal aims for the new season that lies ahead.
