After two big wins to start the league campaign, we would be looking to solidify that start with another performance against a newly promoted Wakefield side that had started the season with a point to prove.
Wakefield would come into the game off the back of a big opening weekend victory against the Leeds Rhinos, and a narrow defeat at the hands of last season’s grand finalists Hull KR, and so would be full of confidence having made a stellar start to the campaign, especially for a newly promoted side.
With next weeks opponents Hull KR having played the same teams as us to this point, a win would take us into that game with the same results as the Robins, from the same opposition, setting up an intriguing clash in round four.
