St.Helens Head Coach Paul Wellens looks ahead to this Friday night’s fixture against Hull KR.
The Saints return home after a fortnight of trips to West Yorkshire and first Friday night under the lights match at the Totally Wicked Stadium in 2025.
Wellens is prepping his side to face the best of Hull KR, who reached last year’s Grand Final and like Saints have three wins out of three in the campaign so far. Knowing the Robins have the current Man of Steel or even former Saint Danny Richardson to call upon in the halves is a small example of their strength in depth.
Hull KR, just like the Red V, will be hoping to compete for silverware at the right points of the season, so it should be a tough test for Wellens’ men who are looking to keep up this good start to Super League 2025.
Wellens speaking about the latest news around his squad stated that Morgan Knowles is likely to return to his 21-man squad, and that whilst Tee Ritson is on loan with Barrow he can still push to put himself in the match day selection.
