St.Helens Head Coach Paul Wellens speaks to the press ahead of Thursday night’s match against Warrington Wolves.
The Saints boss gives an update on back-rower Joe Batchelor, who came off the field during the second half of last week’s match against Wigan, with the prognosis that he will be expected to be unavailable for around eight weeks.
Speaking about his right edge, Wellens discussed his options for the upcoming game, and praised the efforts for the players for their efforts who have gone into those spots. He also did say it could be a possibility that Owen Dagnall could feature, which would be his Super League debut.
It is the third time that the Saints and the Wolves have faced off in recent weeks, and Wellens believes that on a short turn-around from Friday to Thursday, that could be a positive as we look to get one back over one of our near neighbours.
