Ahead of tomorrow’s clash with the Warrington Wolves, we sat down with Curtis Sironen as we look to take steps to improve from last week’s defeat at the hands of the Wigan Warriors.
On last week’s game, Curtis said we almost beat ourselves with some of the mistakes we made in the game, and we know if we can put those errors right we can do much better as a team.
With Warrington on the horizon, having not beaten them in our last six games against them, Curtis said we need to right that quickly, and more than that, get a win against a top four side, with this being a perfect opportunity.
Joe Batchelor will miss the game through injury, and Curtis knows he’ll be a big loss for us with his big plays in the effort areas like diving on loose balls and kick pressures. He said though, whoever goes in there in his place, he’s sure they’ll pick up the slack.
Finally on the fans, Siro said he knows you’ll be there in numbers as you always are come rain or shine, and he’s hoping that we’ll be able to give you a bit more to cheer about this time out.
