After a couple of disappointing results in big games over recent weeks against Wigan and Warrington, we went into this game needing a win for confidence, but also wanting to put in a good performance. The game would see a debut for new signing Deon Cross, and Jonny Lomax return to the side on the bench as we looked to turn around our fortunes.
Leeds would come into the game off the back of a loss to Hull KR, but the result tell the full story, as they put in a brilliant performance against one of the league’s best sides, and would take confidence from that. With players in the side like Lachie Miller and Jake Connor in the side, Leeds can always create something from nothing.
