On what was a tough night at Sewell Group Craven Park, Wellens was disappointed with his team getting beaten to the punch by the hosts.
Jack Welsby and Lewis Murphy both needed to come off the field, so Wellens discusses the latest surrounding those two. With a week with no game due to the Challenge Cup Final taking place, a couple of our injured players will be closer to fitness and availability, which Wellens expands on.
Now as we head into the second half of the 2025 season, the Saints boss called for his team to produce better performances on a consistent basis.
