Speaking following a hard fought away victory over York Valkyrie, Richards joined members of his squad at Oulton Hall in Leeds for the Challenge Cup Final Media Event.
Reflecting on the win over York, Richards believes it was the exact sort of game that his players needed just before heading down to London for the showpiece final.
Giving an update on the squad too, he reveals that there are some selection headaches to resolve, such as Vicky Whitfield who will be fine to play, and Naomi Williams stepping up in the game against Valkyrie to stake her claim for a final shirt.
Motivated himself to retain our Challenge Cup crown for a fifth successive season, Craig also details the drive across the playing squad, which will be highly important when taking on an in-form and firing Wigan Warriors side.
In closing, Richards encouraged supporters to come down to the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday morning to wave the team off in style, and highlighted how special in the past two seasons the Wembley departure has been.
