St.Helens Head Coach Paul Wellens speaks to the press following his side’s 4-16 loss to Leigh Leopards.
The Saints’ five-match winning run came to an end at the Totally Wicked Stadium at the hands of a running hot Leigh side.
Wellens was not disappointed with his side’s effort or desire to compete and contest the fixture, but was frustrated by little bits of detail and diligence.
When asked about his bench and squad selection, including a lightweight bench, Wellens revealed that was where our squad health was at. He also revealed that Mark Percival missed out due to being sick and requiring a stay in hospital ahead of this week’s match.
