The Saints’ star centre missed our last match due to battling illness leading up to match day. Now, back feeling 100%, Mark Percival looks ahead to Friday’s clash with Castleford!
Percival spoke to Saints TV following the Club’s annual Member Open Day and discussed spending a couple of nights in hospital due to the illness he picked up ahead of the home match against Leigh.
It came at a less-than-ideal time, having just welcomed his little son into the world just days before. However, not to be beaten by the sickness, ‘Percy’ reveals he was speaking to Paul Wellens and trying to still put his hand up to play!
The Red V’s number #4 previews the match against Castleford, and knows that they will be full of confidence after beating Warrington in their last match. He also believes some of their results have not reflected how competitive they have been in matches too, so he knows to expect the Tigers at their best.
