We caught up with Harry Robertson ahead of our round 22 clash with the Huddersfield Giants at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
Following on from a big win over an in-form Wakefield side, he spoke about how every game is important for us at this stage of the season, and for us to put a big score on them like we did when they’re so close to us in the table is a good indicator of where we’re at.
With Huddersfield having won back to back games Harry know’s they’ve been playing well, and said that they’ll have a desperation about them which will make them a dangerous proposition. He went on to say that we just want to pick up the two points here and move on as we take the rest of the season one game at a time.
On his form so far this season Harry said he’s happy with how he’s been playing so far this season, and that just playing with the boys and getting out in front of the fans has been great. He also said he’s really enjoying his partnership with Kyle Feldt, and learning from one of the best in the game.
Harry said it’s all been quite surreal following his first call up to the England training squad earlier in the year. He went on to say being in the meetings and around the team now, he’s delighted to be there and hopes to stay in the team.
With this game being at the Totally Wicked Stadium, he said he’s hoping to see a lot of fans there with it due to be a sunny day for our double header against the Giants. He went on to say how much he enjoys playing at home, commenting on how much the fans help get the team over the line in these games.
