One of the biggest characters to ever grace Super League, Konrad Hurrell sits down with Saints TV to reflect on his four seasons as a St.Helens player.
Konrad Hurrell is proudly sponsored at the Saints by Breath For Healing.
With his larger-than-life personality and his strong, bulldozing on-field efforts, the Tongan centre has been a beloved Saints player among both our supporters and his teammates since first joining the Club ahead of the 2022 season.
Hurrell’s first year with the Saints ended in the best possible fashion, with a try at Old Trafford in our 2022 Grand Final victory, our fourth successive Super League title. The centre also scored a pivotal four-pointer in the Saints’ historic 2023 World Club Challenge victory over Penrith Panthers.
The 2024 season sadly ended prematurely for Konrad as he suffered a neck injury that required surgery. After working on his comeback, he was limited to just one match appearance in the 2025 campaign for the Red V First Team, but did go out on loan and feature of our Reserves side. Meanwhile, off the field he continued to contribute as a supportive teammate and as a representative of the Club and our Foundation in the local community.
Sitting down for a conversation with Saints TV, Koni shares some of his favourite memories as a Saint and reflects on his journey with the Club as he gets ready to close this chapter of his story.
