Following the Saints’ victory over Leigh Leopards at the BrewDog Stadium, Lewis Murphy shared his desire to get consistent rugby and show himself at his best in the Red V jersey.
The winger had a wild night with at least three, if not four, centre combinations on his left edge following early injuries to Jonny Lomax and Nene Macdonald, which saw the team have a big reshuffle. However, our #20 was thrilled to get the first Super League win of the season chalked off.
Revealing that he wants to show himself at his best for the Saints supporters, as well as his coaches and teammates, Lewis is fired up and wants to play consistent rugby after an up-and-down first season last year due to injuries.
Looking ahead to playing in France next week against Catalans, ‘Murph’ shared his excitement, even though the weather over in Perpignan looked wild in Round 1.
