St.Helens trailed our oldest and most fierce rivals, Wigan, in the traditional Good Friday Derby 16-24 with just over nine minutes to play. What would unfold is one of the greatest Rugby League fight-backs to earn a victory, as the Red V showed remarkable grit and spirit to score four times before the final whistle.
On loan hooker Bill Leyland, on his first appearance for the Saints, etched himself into Easter Rugby legend with his first Super League try, followed almost immediately by his second.
